Deb Grisé
Deb Grisé is a native of Penetanguishene, Ontario. She has lived in many parts of Canada- country, city, foothills, and prairie.

Always an artist at heart, Deb discovered the joy of watercolour after returning home to live in beautiful Penetanguishene on the shores of Georgian Bay, where she now resides.
“ Arts and music are a family tradition; from a young age, I have been fascinated by both. Among my 5 siblings and both parents, we have oil and acrylic painter, silk artisans, folk artists, pen and ink artists, poets and songwriters – and we all sing in harmony!
The discovery of watercolour painting, for me, was truly an epiphany. I think it well suits my calm and gentle temperament. The follies appeal to my sometimes off-the-wall sense of humor.
Watercolour is somewhat unpredictable, but I love the quality that allows light to reflect and pass through, like no other medium. The challenge of finding the right technique to achieve the effect I want is very exciting.
My specialty is watercolour on YUPO, a synthetic imported paper. Because this paper is non absorbent, the colours and effects are vibrant and interesting.”
